Out with the old and in with the new.

Hello again, have you ever just sat down for a minute and later started thinking about so many stuff? well that's exactly what I did, I was relaxing and thinking about stuff, and thought hit me. "fashion has gone a long way" I thought. So I wanna talk about the evaluation of fashion!
Fashion has gone a very, very long away through the years and through the years fashion changed in a rapid way. Fashion trends would change every year, every year! and it has been like that way all the way up to 2016, it'll probably keep changing every year.

The 50's is now being loved in 2016, our favorite stuff we love about the 50's, is their dresses! 50's women fashion is so cute, beautiful, and free. The dresses were designed with all kinds of designs that us 2016 people probably wouldn't wear now. 50's had the most awesome dresses that would literally pop out a woman's feature SHE probably didn't know about.

The 70 skirt look progressed into longer, plain, and straight dresses. They were still hot but, the high waist pants were taking over and is now being remembered and loved again.

That is all for today, I hope I talked about it enough for it to be interesting. I will blog again soon.

Haute Couture

Hello again readers, during my time in fashion I heard a lot about "Haute Couture" and I did my research about it. It's a very interesting topic to fashion and I just wanna put down what I know and maybe you'll like Haute Couture, enjoy~

The true definition of "Haute Couture" is the fashion that is constructed by hand from start to finish, made from high quality, expensive, often unusual fabric and sewn with extreme attention to detail and finished by the most experienced and capable sewers, often using time-consuming, hand-executed techniques.
It is often thought that haute couture refers to clothing; however, haute couture can actually refer to the fashion designers or fashion houses create the looks. This is why many times we see the word couture tacked onto the end of fashion house or designer names.
Design made-to-order for private clients, with one or more fittings and must have 20, full-time technical people in at least one workshop (atelier)
since one of the requirements for haute couture items is that they are completely hand-crafted, you can imagine that making only one garment takes a lot of time, but how long exaclty? According to various fashion websites, it can take anywhere from 100 to 700 hours to create one couture dress.
The cheapest of couture pieces will cost you $10,000, but evening gowns start at $60,000 and can cost upwards of $100,000.
The market for haute couture isn'e that big. It is reported that about 2,000 women worldwide purchase haute couture and of those 2,000, only 200 are regular buyers.
I hope this was great information to you readers, I will post again soon!

What 'needs' do you think clothing satisfies? Physical Needs?Emotional Needs? Other Needs?

Just gonna start it off with, clothing satisfies any emotional, and physical needs a person has.
Clothing mostly satisfies the emotional need than it does for the physical need. For an example, if I'm feeling like a mix of red and black. I would wear something like, a dark red tank top, and black jeans or skirt.
Fashion could be a bit difficult or easy for others and for those who have difficulty, they get more aggravated when picking or deciding what to wear. That's perfectly okay, plus you're not the only one.
Image result for fashion sketches tumblr        In my opinion, fashion can help in every emotional and physical way, and can bring people together! Fashion has changed the way I look and feel about myself in a rapid, positive, and healthy way. Though it's been awhile since I felt negative and wanted to show that through my fashion. In my way of showing my emotions is very different, I think. I usually don't dress the way I feel unless I'm sure I'll stick to that feeling all day.  When I feel happy in the morning, I dress in a cute outfit. But, I don't know if I'll feel like that all day.
But, overall I think fashion helps bring out the greater feeling a person. I think people should bring more of their feelings out through clothing.

does wearing school uniforms increase learning? reduce violence? reduce stereotyping and prejudice?

Hello, just wanting to talk a little bit about question, I thought it'll be very important to talk about, and give a few statement options.
First, I think it dose not increase learning if you wear uniform. I used to go to a school that made the students wear uniform and I really did not like it. Everyday would be a stressful war in my head about how I wanna look in this ugly uniform. In class it'll bother me and I'll feel embarrassed to walk around. No store had this uniform that looked good. I had to try to look good but ended up getting picked on.
Other students would face the problems as me and it'll be rare to see someone that actually made the uniform look good. The struggle made half of the students grumpy and that would sometimes end up with them fighting someone. Everyone was cranky all the time because they felt like the uniform was embarrassing and strict.

It felt strict because the students would have to wear something that didn't express what they felt, no one felt comfortable, and even on the free dress up days, we had to wear something that the school gave us. Nothing came good with that.
Image result for fashion sketches tumblr        was there stereotyping and prejudice? yes, of course they were. Some students from outside of the school would sometimes say comments that were unnecessary and a bit hurtful.

In my option, I think there should not be any school uniforms. Just simple dress code that would be helpful students.

What messages do you think you send through your clothing? What about other people? What messages do you think they send through the clothes they wear?

Hello readers! today I'm gonna do this interesting topic that I thought about all day yesterday and today. I wanna start it with, everyone has their own way of showing how they feel through fashion. For example, when I'm feeling mad. I wear black. Black shirt, pants, shoes, and socks. Everything!
But, what I want to tell people through my fashion is that they'er free to feel any emotion they want and that they can wear whatever they want. No matter what color or size they are.
Black Dress Fashion. "If it fits, then it sits!" this is my new saying. It means what it says, if it fits the way you want it to and you love it and you're rocking it. Then you stick with it and sit like the a boss!

No one is in control of what and how you do fashion, the only thing that could stop you is you!
When I see people wearing such clean, fresh, and stylish clothes. I think about what they're trying to say through the way they dress.
One time, I saw this girl that was wearing a pink small top, white skirt, and with vans. I started to think she wanted to show people that she is a fun, cute, and nice person. Then, I saw a boy wearing dark jeans, dark blue shirt, and black vans. I thought that he was trying to say that he's a cool, fun, fresh, and hot person.

Overall, I just wanna show people through my fashion that they're free to dress in anyway they and feel however they like.

If it fits, then it sits.

Why did you choose to study fashion? What do you hope to learn by taking a fashion class?

I decided to study fashion because I love fashion all over the world. Fashion is something that became very important to me and a daily stress. Not a bad stress, it's more of a fun and exciting stress, if that makes sense?
Every morning I throw half of my cloths in my closet on the floor cause I either can't find something, or I found something but don't want to wear it yet. Do you have the same thing?
Fashion has made me confident, open, free, joyful, and made me a better person. I want to create, adventure, and learn new things. Fashion has change me in a very healthy and happy way.
I started liking fashion when I was in middle school, in middle school we only had uniform, and the uniforms were not to my liking. It never was and I'm positive that it will never be. That's why I want to do fashion so I can change not only the world, but how people feel about themselves and each other.

I want to learn how I can take my designing to a whole new level of fashion, I want to let people know what I do and what I can do, and I want to let them know that. My fashion is made for anyone in any size and color. I want my name to be known. I want to change the world with my fashion in the most greatest way.
I want to learn and love fashion more than I do, now.
